One product. Four checkpoints.
Facts — confirm what the product actually offers.
Copy — explain the product in the store’s voice.
SEO fields — review the search title and description.
Export — check the destination before making live changes.
Illustrated review checklist, not a store screenshot.
Product content preparation, connected to Shopify.
Shopify SEO tools can cover many different jobs. Seller’s Bay’s Shopify workflow focuses on product content: bring products into a campaign, prepare copy and metadata, review the result and export approved content.

Titles and descriptions
Work on the product’s customer-facing name and body copy. Preserve the specifications shoppers need, such as materials, dimensions, compatibility and care instructions.

Search listing fields
Review the SEO title and meta description separately from the product title. Check the final values in Shopify’s search engine listing after delivery.

A campaign for each store
Connect the correct client shop to its campaign and keep product work separate. Campaign and feature limits depend on the account and plan.
This is connected SaaS software. We do not claim a Shopify App Store listing or Shopify endorsement. Theme editing, collection-page optimisation, redirect management and a complete technical store audit are separate tasks.
Connect the right store before choosing products.
The campaign’s Shopify connection asks for the shop URL, API key and Admin API access token, with an optional storefront password for a protected store. Use the access supported by the connection guide and test the connection before saving it.
Check the destination
Confirm the Shopify shop belongs to the campaign you are working on. Treat credentials as private, and keep product permissions limited to what the supported connection requires. Ask the store owner to help with access where needed.
Choose a manageable batch
The product pipeline moves through Downloaded, Imported, Staged and Exported content. Start with products whose facts you can verify. Shopify download controls support selecting collections or product types for a batch; importing those products does not optimise the collection page itself.
Prepare, review, then export the product content.
Use the product details as the source for a draft, then check the wording yourself. AI can propose copy, but it cannot verify a specification, guarantee compatibility or decide which claims your business can support.
Prepare the draft
Generate or edit the product copy and SEO fields. Review the credit cost before an AI action. Keep the product identity and specifications intact, and remove statements that the source information does not support.
Review the fields
Compare the product title, description, SEO title and meta description. Check formatting, brand voice and customer questions. Image alt text should describe the actual selected image; check the available image fields and mapping for the product you are exporting.
Verify the live result
Stage the content and use the explicit export action for the selected product. Confirm the destination, then inspect the product page and search listing in Shopify. Check what changed rather than assuming every field was updated.

An example that preserves product specifications.
Fictional editorial example: a cotton cushion cover, 45 × 45 cm, zip fastening, cover only. No customer store data, generated output or ranking results are shown.
Before: too little buying information
Title: Blue cushion
Description: A lovely cushion for your sofa.
The wording leaves two important questions unanswered: what size is it, and is the insert included?
After: a clearer reviewed draft
Product title: Blue Cotton Cushion Cover — 45 × 45 cm
Description: Refresh your sofa with this blue cotton cushion cover. It measures 45 × 45 cm and has a zip fastening. Cover only; the cushion insert is not included. Check the size of your insert before ordering.
SEO title: Blue Cotton Cushion Cover, 45 × 45 cm | Example Store
Meta description: Explore a blue cotton cushion cover with zip fastening. Size 45 × 45 cm; cover only, insert not included. See the product details at Example Store.
Before using a draft, verify the fabric, dimensions, fastening and included items. Do not add care instructions or claims such as “organic” unless the product facts support them.
Know which Shopify SEO work remains outside the product draft.
Useful product content is part of store SEO. You still need to review indexing, internal links, collection pages, redirects, performance and the structured data rendered by the theme.
Shopify provides editable product and search listing fields. See Shopify’s product editing guidance and SEO overview for platform details.
Seller’s Bay does not guarantee rankings or sales. Use available campaign evidence to measure changes and explain it through client SEO reports. Check plans and credits before choosing your working approach.
Shopify SEO tool questions, answered.
Can you do SEO on Shopify?
Yes. Shopify provides product content and search listing fields, and store SEO also includes technical and site-structure work. Seller’s Bay helps with the connected product-content workflow; it does not replace every Shopify SEO task.
Which fields can I prepare?
Product titles, descriptions, SEO titles and meta descriptions are part of the reviewed product workflow. Check the image fields, current values and destination mapping for the product before an export.
Do I need to publish every draft?
No. Preparing a draft is separate from staging and exporting it. Review the details and decide what should reach the connected shop.
Is this a Shopify App Store app?
This page describes Shopify-connected Seller’s Bay SaaS software. It does not claim an App Store listing, official endorsement or a built-in Shopify feature.
Does downloading a collection optimise the collection page?
No. Selecting a collection for download chooses a product batch. Improving the collection page’s copy, structure and links is a separate task.
How much does the Shopify workflow cost?
Account features and limits depend on the plan, and AI preparation can use credits. Check the pricing page and the displayed cost before running an action. A free CEO walkthrough is available before you choose.
Can I see it before connecting a shop?
Book a free CEO demo. You can ask how the product workflow fits your Shopify store before providing credentials or connecting client accounts.
